About Us

The group Bangladesh Aquarium Hobbyist has been in operation from the last two years. It started at a time in Dhaka and probably even in Bangladesh when the hobbyist was at its nascent stage. It was the endeavor of two keen hobbyists who felt that though there have always been people in the city who were passionate about pets but it lacked the infrastructure to support such a passion. The credit for the whole enterprise goes to Mohammed Rizwan Samad, who is well known for his varied hobbies and by the well known Gold fish guy Mohd Talha.

· "Two like minded people felt something had to be done...."
Fish lovers in Dhaka had remained dissatisfied for a long time and had to make do with whatever was available in the city. Two like minded people felt something had to be done and the idea of forming a hobbyist group . Bangladesh Aquarium Hobbyist was born out of such a personal need. Since the cause was personal and not merely commercial this factor has been the basis of the growth of BAH as one of the pioneer community dealing with the aquatic pets.
